Write down what the number represents

A displayed pool, an announced historical outcome and a reset seed are different kinds of number. A screenshot of a meter records a display at a moment. A provider press release records what the provider reported. Neither automatically establishes what a future participant could receive.

Our historical ledger uses provider announcements and labels their scope. It does not show balances. A source check date tells you when our desk read the evidence, not when the game paid an award or when a pool was last refreshed.

A historical example needs its qualifiers

Games Global’s January 2024 WowPot announcement reports an event on 20 December 2023. Its euro figure is expressly a currency equivalent. Treating it as an original EUR payout would erase a meaningful qualification. The source does not provide an original payout currency or conversion rate.

The event date and announcement date do different work. One locates the reported outcome; the other locates the public statement. Keeping both avoids the impression that an old event occurred when an article was refreshed.

Freshness cannot be manufactured

Rebuilding a page does not recheck the amount. A changing number without a trustworthy source, observation timestamp and failure policy creates the appearance of precision without the underlying evidence. We therefore do not turn archived figures into counters or silently renew their dates.

Even a genuine display is not a promise that the same amount remains available at another operator, in another currency or on a later visit. Check the in-game information and applicable rules for the specific pool.

Read amounts as records

When sharing a figure, carry its qualifiers with it: game edition, jackpot family, tier, currency basis, event or observation time, source publication date and link. If any field is missing, preserve the gap in the caption instead of guessing.

An amount can be interesting as a historical record without being useful as a gambling decision. It does not establish your eligibility, a next winning time or an expected return. For those questions an archived amount is the wrong evidence.
