Information we handle
When you request the newsletter, we receive your email address, optional first name, chosen country or region if supplied, your age acknowledgement and the consent wording and version you accepted. We retain submission time, source page and campaign routing so we can honour and demonstrate your choice. Security processing may include IP address, browser information and country inferred by our hosting provider; your selected country is recorded separately.
Why we use it
We use your consent to provide this publication’s email updates. You can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link in an email or contact us directly. We use security information to protect forms and investigate abuse. Service records also help us respond to requests and meet applicable obligations.
Service providers and scope
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes requests and operates Turnstile to protect the signup form. Our publication and email systems process subscriptions on our behalf. Joining this newsletter does not subscribe you to other publications, SMS or operator marketing lists. We do not sell the email address collected by this form.
Providers may process data in other countries. Applicable contractual safeguards and access controls govern processing. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing information.
Retention and your choices
We retain subscription information while it is needed for your requested subscription, and consent and suppression records as needed to honour withdrawals and applicable obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion and raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority. In Denmark this is Datatilsynet.
External operator and provider websites have their own privacy policies. Our storage notice explains local browser settings.
